Snow Day Part 2

Snow Day!
Memphis got it's first snow of the year last Friday and Saturday. We of course took full advantage of it and had a blast. You can already see from the last post that of course Brian had to make his tribute to Calvin and Hobbes by making his snowman scene. This was Sam's first time playing in the snow and she loved it!! We only had little cloth mittens for her that had been handed down to us, since we aren't traditional 'snow folk' so her hands did get a bit cold. But she didn't seem to mind a bit! (In case you were wondering why Aubrey isn't in any of the pictures, we played outside while she was sleeping....the baby monitor is in my pocket:))
This was the deepest snow drift that blew up against the corner of our house.
It was at least 6-8 inches deep:)
Get that girl some snow shoes! What a trekker!

A Tribute to Calvin and Hobbes
Since Brian is a such a huge Calvin & Hobbes fan,
he couldn't resist creating a little "artwork"
of his own on one of the few times that
Memphis has ever seen snow.
